Contact & quote forms

When you submit a contact or quote request form, we collect the information you provide (name, email address, and message). This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with the site. GA4 collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on page, and general geographic region. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. You can opt out by using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Cookies

This website uses cookies set by Google Analytics. No other tracking cookies are used. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

3. Voltix app

Data we collect

Voltix is designed to work entirely offline. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on our servers. All calculator inputs and results remain on your device.

Subscriptions & payments

Voltix offers optional paid subscriptions processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple and Google respectively — we do not receive or store your payment details.

Subscription management is provided by RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous user identifier and purchase receipt data to verify and manage your subscription status. No name, email, or payment details are shared with RevenueCat. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy for details of how they handle this data.

App store platforms

When you download Voltix, the Apple App Store or Google Play may collect certain data (such as device type and download statistics) in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control this data collection.

Analytics

Voltix uses Google Firebase Analytics (part of Google Analytics 4) to collect anonymised usage data, including app opens, screen views, and in-app events such as subscription purchases. This data is used to improve the app and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Firebase Analytics does not collect your name or email address. Data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Voltix also uses Expo Insights to collect anonymised app usage metrics (such as active users and session counts) to monitor app performance via the Expo dashboard.

4. Data retention

Enquiry form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your request. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months in accordance with GA4 defaults. We do not store any data from the Voltix app.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact chris@christhrower.com.

6. Third-party links

This website and app may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the website or app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
